The youths need counceling. This violence is getting out of control. They need to cease abusing substances and apply conflict resolution to resolve their differences. Where is the respect for the elderly? 😔
When the elders speak, the youth play deaf. One more resident of shit bucket 1735
Where are the fathers of the youths?
Deepest condolences to the family and friends
I no longer recognise my beloved Antigua. The yout’ dem out of control nowadays, and have no respect for anyone it seems.
If it’s not the marijuana, KFC 🍗, Shawarma🌮 or Pizza 🍕…it must be the water that is causing all this ignoramus violence in our young people. People cannot disagree nowadays without some form of physical altercation which, in most cases, are deadly or causing serious injury. What a way to go! Condolences to the young man’s family for their loss, and fast recovery to the other.
Im a young youth of this country and I wasn’t born here but I was raised here my whole life , however yall can’t say the “youths in general ” there are some good young youths out there trying to make it and you guys who are saying ” dem youths dis and dat ” making it seems like it’s every single one of them young youths doing this shit , come on men , specify them please
Stapleton, you are so right.something is causing the youths of today to resort to serious violence.they need lots of help, and if they do not get the help they deserve, they are going to get even more voilent.sending condolences to the young man’s family, and wishing the other injured young man, a full and speedy recovery.
Try that 18 years old boy before a vigilante court. Send out a message that children must stop committing serious crimes and murder in this country. And for that boy who do not agree with the phrase youth committing crime, this is the way to say it. Those youth who are not committing crime three cheers for them but overall, the youth of this country are dangerous. We all know is not all youths bad but that is the way it will be reported. No offence. Keep being a good youth.
My friend Ese, most children nowadays are left to “grow” themselves. Most mothers are left to take care of the children, they have to work to support their families, while the sperm donors roam. Some of the donors have to be taken to the courts to get monetary support for their children and so, the young men especially, (teenager) have no guidance and ended up in gangs and rum shops
In times of profound sorrow, it is natural to reflect on the decisions that shape our lives and their impact on others. As individuals, we possess the freedom to choose, and these choices are fundamental in determining our ultimate path. The concept of Birth, Choices, and Destiny highlights this interconnectedness ( The BCD of life). Our present decisions inevitably shape our future.
It’s acknowledged that human nature is inclined towards negative impulses, often leading to actions taken without prior consideration. To counter this, it’s crucial to cultivate a mindset grounded in righteousness and positive principles. By filling our minds with constructive thoughts, we can resist harmful urges when they arise.
While the path toward negative outcomes can appear effortless, the journey to peace and goodness often requires significant effort. This pursuit is NOT achieved through individual strength alone; it comes from seeking divine guidance and support.
Regrettably, we often find ourselves wishing for different outcomes after an event has transpired, frequently using the phrase “if only.”
It’s important to recognize that we are currently living in Perilous times. There is an urgent call for individuals to align with paths that lead to peace and positive living. The Creator grants us the autonomy to choose our own way, never forcing adherence. Therefore, it is imperative to think before acting and to carefully consider consequences.
Cultivating righteous thoughts, often through prayer and study, is highly encouraged.
During this difficult period, our thoughts are with the family of the deceased, and we extend wishes for comfort. We also hope that the other party involved finds grace and peace amidst this sorrow.
Ultimately, a better path exists, and it requires sincere dedication and effort to discover it.
May Peace & Comfort be with all.
I understand youths this and that, but mind you they said BOTH of them armed themselves and the youth also sustained injuries. Yea there is a problem with the youths but the adults are a problem and also the adults raising said youths
Why, why, why. Why is all the comments against the i8 year old and youths. Why are we assuming the 18 year old is wrong. WHY.
Were you there? If yes say so and enlighten us. If not hold on to your judgment until you have the facts.
I was not there so I have to go on only this article. And based on the article we do not know who was in the wrong.
So what do we know from the article.
There was a confrontation.
It escalated.
Both parties armed themselves.
Both ended up in the hospital.
The 50 year died.
That’s all we know. We do not know if one attacked the other. We do not know if one was only defending
himself. So how can we cast judgment. WHY.
