Police are now probing the country’s first murder since the start of 2022.
A man was shot dead outside the southern fence of the Clare Hall Secondary School.
The incident occurred shortly after 4pm.
He was sitting under a vendor’s booth where it’s said he usually sits daily.
A student was said to have been sitting next to him when he heard gun shots then saw the man bleeding.
Blood was splattered on the student’s clothing in an incident which has left many still in shock.
INITIAL REPORT:
Police are investigating a homicide outside Clare Hall School.
According to reports, three men were sitting by the vending staff on the north of the entrance. It is further reported that a man walked towards the men, fired shots killing one man.
The incident occurred at 4 p.m.
