POLICE INVESTIGATE DEATH OF MALE FOUND AT MAMORA BAY
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda — Friday, May 16, 2025
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a Caucasian male, who is believed to be a visitor to the island.
His body was discovered floating along the shoreline of Mamora Bay shortly after 7 a.m. on Friday, May 16.
Officers from the Dockyard Police Station and the Forensic Department are currently at the scene conducting further inquiries.
The police will provide additional updates as the investigation progresses.
Meanwhile, the police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist in this investigation to contact the Dockyard Police Station or the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913/14.
Individuals can also call the anonymous Crimestoppers Hotline at 800-TIPS (8477). All information will be treated with strict confidentiality.

Antigua, the land of mysterious deaths and disappearances, when will it cease
Antigua, often hailed for its breathtaking beauty, hides a dark and troubling reality beneath its sun-soaked surface. Despite its charm, the island has become a place where justice often fails to reach victims and their families.
In February 2025, Richard Whinfield, known as “Monk” of Swetes, was brutally murdered. Not long after, Chantel met a similar tragic fate. To this day, no arrests have been made in connection with Monk’s death, and the public remains uninformed about who is responsible for Chantel’s killing.
Antigua’s police services appear broken, leaving communities in fear and families without answers. The current administration seems to regard murder as just another part of life—an alarming sign of indifference that continues to erode public trust.
Let’s wait and see the outcome from this death. As the deceased is white the wheels of police investigation might be more forthcoming.

Didn’t they just confiscate over 3mil worth of cocaine traveling out of Antigua to Canada?
Whoever is connected to that drugs were highly upset that the mission failed, so someone has to pay, simple.
