Cannabis with an estimated street value of 626 thousand dollars was seized at the V C Bird Airport last night.
The latest seizure was made at LIAT Cargo last evening by members of the K9 unit.
156 pounds of cannabis was found stashed in cardboard boxes. It arrived on LIAT flight 315 from St Maarten mid-afternoon Friday.
According to reports, no arrest has yet been made but the Criminal Investigations Department is carrying out intensive investigations.
