Booby Alley Housing Project Groundbreaking Ceremony Scheduled for Today
Antigua and Barbuda will host the official groundbreaking ceremony for the highly anticipated Booby Alley Housing Project today, October 28, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. The event will mark a significant step forward in the government’s commitment to addressing housing needs and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
The ceremony will feature key figures, including Prime Minister Gaston Browne, who will deliver remarks. Also in attendance will be Her Excellency Mrs. Zhang Yanling, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Antigua and Barbuda, who is expected to participate in the ceremonial turning of the sod alongside Prime Minister Browne.
The program includes national anthems, an invocation by The Very Reverend Dwane Cassius, and remarks from various stakeholders, including His Excellency Clarence Pilgrim, Chairperson for the Booby Alley Housing Project. Villa Primary School will also contribute with a cultural presentation and a calypso performance, bringing a local flair to the proceedings.
