Booby Alley Housing Project Advancing on Schedule, Says Prime Minister Browne

Construction on the long-awaited Booby Alley redevelopment is progressing steadily and remains on schedule, according to Prime Minister Gaston Browne.

Speaking during his weekly radio programme on Pointe FM, Browne said the project is now in an advanced phase and is expected to be completed by mid-2026. He confirmed that construction is proceeding within both budget and timeline projections.

The redevelopment will deliver 150 two-bedroom, climate-resilient homes aimed at dramatically improving the living standards of residents in the area.

“These homes will transform the community and provide a better quality of life for the people who live there,” Browne stated, noting that the initiative reflects a broader commitment to sustainable urban renewal.

The Booby Alley project has been closely watched as a flagship effort to modernise housing infrastructure in the capital.
