The bishop commended Prime Minister Gaston Browne, Attorney General Steadroy Benjamin and the Cabinet for leading what he described as a bold step towards unity and thanksgiving.

The day was marked by church services, prayer gatherings and national reflection, with officials confirming it will become an annual observance.

Bishop Browne said the occasion placed the nation “under divine covering” and urged citizens to remain mindful of the power of prayer.
