Belgium’s highest court has rejected Mehul Choksi’s final bid to block his extradition to India, clearing the way for his surrender to face fraud charges.
The Court of Cassation dismissed the appeal this week, ruling that the Antiguan national had failed to present any valid legal or factual grounds to overturn earlier extradition orders.
Choksi is wanted by Indian authorities over an alleged large-scale bank fraud. He has argued that extradition would breach his rights and endanger his safety, but the court said those claims did not meet the legal threshold to halt the process.
The ruling exhausts Choksi’s legal options in Belgium and brings India a step closer to securing his return after years of litigation in multiple countries.

Why did he leave the safe haven of Antigua that have given him protection for all those years?
Choksi had no other choice but to run from Antigua because either way he was going to be returned to India. There was a bounty that was offered to only one person on this globe and he, in turn, squeezed his partner from across the waters on the deal. He was well abused but lucky to have avoided the journey through their incompetence. The Kingpin was not paid for the unfinished assignment so Choksi decided not to give him a second opportunity at the bounty. Real Money-Hawk.
Choksi..go home!
I know you sick and have health issues but my boy save your energy. Them people want you just go.

First of all why u go Belgium? You were protected in Antigua. You like trouble for yourselfFirst of all why u go Belgium? You were protected in Antigua. You like trouble for yourself
Choksi can never be an Antiguan national
Justice moves slow, but it still moves. This is long overdue.
This man and many others, were allowed by GB and co to make Antigua into a pappyshow nation. These are the kind of people who have bought our passports through the CBI.
Some are saying that other islands have a CBI program as well, but why were they not punished?
But here are the facts.. (whether it’s the reason the Donald block Antiguan’s visa entry or not,) Antigua has hosted some of the most notorious criminals in recent years under their CBI program. Those are the facts. Allen Sanford was before the CBI, but he was the leader of a criminal world that could have rivals the Cartels or the Italian Mafia, and he lived and thrived right here in little Antigua.
The crypto kid past through these shores as well.
Some of China’s most wanted crooks made Antigua a safe heaven. Now you have this Indian crook that was masquerading around Antigua like he was untouchable.
Many Nigerian crooks came through Antigua as well to escape the long arms of the law from their home country.
More of these CBI crooks needs to be extradited.
