Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism industry is poised for a landmark year, with Antigua Cruise Port announcing that 23 cruise ships will visit Barbuda during the 2024-2025 season.
This announcement was made at the Antigua Cruise Connect Conference, where stakeholders discussed growth strategies.
Operations Manager Rawles Reynolds noted a significant rise from the previous average of one or two ships per season to 23, bringing an estimated 5,000 passengers seeking luxurious, isolated experiences on Barbuda.
Additionally, Antigua’s cruise ports, Falmouth and Heritage Quay, expect 58 and 351 calls, respectively, totaling 432 for the season. The 2023-2024 season is projected to see a 7.5% increase in passenger volume, reaching 811,931 across 425 calls.

But yall posting bout 23 cruise ships and nah even hab one dock fah accommodate 2 ferry at the same time. Stop lying to the people of the country
The rape continues….leave Barbuda alone…a massive runway for the rich and famous..do the locals still have tarps on their houses? Is there animal welfare on island? Is salt mining happening? Does anyone know about Ramsar Convention and are the mangroves being protected?
@Disgusted Antiguan – was wondering the same thing. Maybe they go use water taxi
