Barbuda Registration Unit is back online
The Registration Unit in Barbuda is online.
A team of technicians from the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) and ABEC officials traveled to the sister isle today (Thursday), supported by our service providers, the Canadian Bank Note (CBN), and were able to identify and rectify the connectivity issues.
The Expired Voter’s ID Card Replacement Programme began on Monday 12th August 2024; however, the process was yet to start in Barbuda due to technical and internet connectivity challenges.
Following the activation of the Electoral Management System (EMS) today, the Barbuda Registration Unit has commenced all electoral services.
The Commission apologizes for the delayed start and for any inconveniences caused.
