
SOURCE: CBC- Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has met with West Indies cricket legend Sir Curtly Ambrose today at Ilaro Court.
It was the Prime Minister’s first meeting with Sir Curtly, during which they discussed ways to enhance the heritage of West Indies cricket and the shared responsibility of preserving and building on that legacy.
They also talked about how to strengthen youth engagement in the sport, investing in structures to help return West Indies cricket to the top tier of world teams, and the importance of regional collaboration in safeguarding its legacy while charting a path toward future success.
Sir Curtly currently serves as the bowling mentor for the Caribbean Premier League franchise, the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, who play the Barbados Royals tomorrow at Kensington Oval.
