Bakesha Francis-James Leads Successful Community Clean-Up Campaign in St. George

2

This weekend was the start of a successful clean up campaign in St Geroge which started in the Pigotts area.

Bakesha Francis-James – St. George’s political hopeful for the upcoming Primary and her team were the champions behind this activity.

They believe that we cannot rely on the Government for everything and thinks community pride starts with those that live in the community.

Other areas will be covered another time based on man power and availability equipment.

Bakesha thanks her team and everyone that assisted for working so diligently. She appreciated their commitment in ensuring this was a success 🙏🏾🙏🏾.

  1. You are correct, can’t rely on your party to clean up…. my question is, what’s the need for the photo opp? Cant you just do it without announcement? All those years u have lived in the village and suddenly u realize it needs cleaning? Oh yea… damm i just remembered its politics hahaha….

  2. politics yes! look at Pringle, he often drives on a road in Swetes to a little restaurant that have more craters than the moon, his bredrin that works for him lives on a road that give people whiplash and further down from him there’s a bridge that the community tried to fix because the side of it was broken off but it didn’t last because it needs proper equipment to do so and its causing major traffic jams and accidents. also lots of overgrown bushes around too. but y’all kissing his ass and getting your palms greased so don’t care to fix anything in All Saints East & Saint Luke or hold him accountable when he has the resources to do something about it. look at those roads in All Saints my gosh
