Travellers at V.C. Bird International Airport faced long delays on Monday after a key baggage carousel malfunctioned, creating a backlog of passengers waiting to drop off checked luggage.
Passengers said the main departure-area carousel was out of service, forcing ground staff to manually carry bags. The breakdown resulted in extended wait times and long lines at check-in.
The Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority said technicians were on site working to repair the faulty equipment.

SABOTAGE!!!!!!!
My oh my! Record visitors without the infrastructure to ease their journey. The sad thing is, it is not new as when I was there in July it broke down also. A sad reflection of those who run the airport.
Pitiful.
nonsense!!!! and a shame
This was broken back in July too … is it still broken, or broken again? But be sure to upgrade the Private jet lounge
It hasn’t worked for months. Economic embarrassment. We don’t need more people. We need infrastructure.
