Police arrested and charged 37yr-old Dwight Wynter of Upper Forth Road, over the weekend with larceny.
He is accused of stealing a wallet from a Perry Bay woman, while she was walking along Corn Alley, last week Wednesday.
The woman was reportedly taking her granddaughter to school, when the accused allegedly walked up behind her and snatched her wallet and escaped.
The wallet at the time contained EC550, US150, an Antigua and Barbuda Social Security Card, a Dominican Republic and an Antigua and Barbuda passport, among other documents and items of value.
A report was made to the police, which eventually led to his arrest and subsequent charge.
None of the stolen items have so far been recovered. He is expected before the Court on Tuesday.
