Azizi Joseph of Hatton Road, Union Road is the winner of a brand-new Changan Alsvin after his ticket was drawn as the grand prize in Townhouse Megastore’s annual “Shop Till You Drive” promotion on Saturday, Feb. 14.
The live draw took place at 11:30 a.m. at the Megastore and was broadcast on radio, with host “Chief Rocker” Sly J engaging audiences both on-site and over the airwaves.
Members of the Mansoor family oversaw the proceedings while a representative from ACE Enterprises Ltd., the local automotive partner, drew the winning ticket from the promotion’s signature blue-and-yellow raffle drum.
Joseph was later presented with the keys to a sleek black Changan Alsvin during a celebratory ceremony on the pavement outside the store. Photographs captured the moment as he shook hands with a Mansoor family representative beside the vehicle, which displayed Townhouse Megastore’s “Shop Till You Drive” branding.
The annual promotion rewards customers for their purchases with the chance to win a vehicle and draws strong participation each year.
