The Electricity Business Unit has apologized for an unplanned power outage that affected the entire network at 3:13 AM on Wednesday, February 12.

The outage was caused by damage to the sky wire on the 69kV transmission line at Lavington Substation, triggering system protection to isolate the fault.

Technicians began restoration efforts at 4:25 AM, and power was fully restored by 6:01 AM.

The company regrets any inconvenience and appreciates customers’ patience and understanding as they worked to resolve the issue.
