Mourns? Guess not enough not to stop the celebrations at that point. Heartless people.
This is truly heartbreaking—Labour Day is supposed to be a time of unity and celebration.
Condolences to the family. Can’t imagine the pain they’re going through.
I hope the union offers some kind of support to the family during this time.
Rest in peace, sister. Your presence will be missed deeply.
This is all that the Antigua Trade and Labour Union has to say? Why ars these people appears to be so heartless, it’s as if she was nobody, it’s next to a Dog died. The Antigua Labour Party and the Antigua Trads and Labour Union, should be held responsible for the safety of their patrons whom normally take part in these Celebrations, where are the Security to maintain Law and Order and to be looking out for the safety of the people.
According to one Dave Ray, it’s alright for this young lady’s death to be used as an example to others and that the Antigua Labour Party will take care of the mourning and her funeral.
Can you imagine, this Stooged of the Antigua Labour Party, doesn’t care nothing about this young lady loosing her life in such a tragic circumstance.
To show contempt to this young lady’s death, the Labour Party and the Antigua Trades and Labour Union allowed the Mayhem to continue without any sort of acknowledgement of her tragic passing. I can’t imagine how heartless people can be, dancing, eating and drinking while frolicking
Condolences go out to the family of this lady but you cannot blame anyone she’s a grown ass woman nobody sent her to climbing on a moving truck she should have known better she should have used her common sense and all of this would have been avoided. common sense people….. My opinion
First off RIP to the lady and heartfelt condolences to her family especially her son.
Second in as harsh and cruel as this may seem no one can be blamed for her demise except for her. She was stopped on more than one occasion by the police and other patron not to climb on the truck and she still continued. A police sergeant stopped her twice before the accident.
Third life goes on and in as sad as it is this lady died life goes on. So the celebration should stop over her foolish decisions. So all the vendors selling at Fort must take a loss because of a foolish decision.
PS idk who replies under this I said what I said.
Chupes !! You need to put your full name, in order that people can see, how wicked and dumb you are and one whom is blind to reality.
You will soon have your own tragedy and I how you will still think that same negative way.
Wicked abdominal blind. Chupes u think the NFL is going to stop the superbowl if someone dies? U think a premiere football game going to stop because someone dies? Think a concert going to stop because someone dies? Think Trinidad the carnival capital going to stop because someone dies? Think the West Indies parade in New York going to stop because someone dies?? Life goes on and there are people especially vendors who suffer because the dumb decisions police and those in authority makes to shut down events because of a stupid fight. Further like it or not she cause her own demise. She was stopped from climbing the truck by police and other patrons but she wanted to carry on. Sorry she died but life goes on.
B**** I said wtf I said!!!!!
Yes !! a simple March has now become the NFL, you can see you are so confused and confounded with yourself. Her life is worth more than what all of the Vendors are selling is worth put together, there is no Dollar Tag on her life. Perhaps life has no value to you, or perhaps !! to you, she is just a nobody. Your condolences to her family means nothing coming from a heartless person like you.
You are afraid to put your full name behind your article, but the true picture of who you are, has really resonated, as someone who is being mean and unhappy with others, this won’t solve your problem.
This is Antigua where we all are brothers and Sisters, we all are related and connected in some ways or the other. There in no NFL here, Premier Football, Trinidad Carnival and the rest. Just keep your bullshit thinking and opinions to yourself. You appears to be a Godless and worldly individual.
Think positive, OK!!!!!!
And learn to stand behind the things you have written.
I said what I said!!!!! And I don’t need to put my name!!!!
She is a grown ass 45 years old woman doing dumb things u would expect from a 20 year old. Jumping on a moving truck dispite being STOPPED multiple times by the police and other patrons. SHE CAUSED HER OWN DEATH AND OTHERS MUST SUFFER FOR HER BULLSHIT!!!! Fun bring fart!!!! U can call me all the wicked u want IDGAF!!!!!! U nar pay my bills so u calling me wicked and heartless don’t phase me.
I SAID WHAT I SAID!!!!!!!!
