Police have identified the man found dead earlier today in the Gray’s Farm community as Ashworth O’Brian, marking the country’s fourth homicide for the year.
Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit Lisborn Michael said several persons of interest are being interviewed as investigations continue.
Michael also noted that authorities remain committed to solving this case along with the three other unsolved homicides recorded so far this year.

Often times, when I see your moniker – The Wire, the vibZ take me straight to Baltimore City and that HBO Series, The Wire 2002 – 2008 and is still in reruns today.
Fortunately, Antigua which about the size of Baltimore City just about 20 square miles smaller, but of course being at the heart of the I-95 Corridor, its crimes quadruple’s Antigua’s, and there are many reasons why the crime rates are high year in year out.
Things such as REDLINING to the WOMB to the PRISON Pipeline, lack of proper funding for education, to mismanagement by City Hall are all factors which those who’ve and are still caught up in criminal activities have no inclination as to what they’re caught up in and just become food for fodder and another statistic.
In other words, it’s like…
A…debris caught in a storm such as a tornado have no idea as to the force which they’re a part of is doing.
B…the same species of trees planted in the valley will be vastly different, than those planted and nurtured on the mountain top.
C…hot jello poured into a mould will take the shape, of said mould without even knowing it doing so.
While some of what you’ve mentioned, do play a role in MOULDING the thought process(es) of some of what you’ve mentioned might term deviants, you are neglecting many factors in your equation.
Factors such as, who’re benefiting from these types of cultural behaviors?
I know if we analyze all of those factors which you mentioned, we’ll recognize, that there are unseen hands casting the die and shaping the moulds to get the RESULTS which you abhor; yet, many tend to put blinders on, get tunnel vision and turn a blind eye to the pulse which these so call degenerates are dancing to.
