ARVIA Cruise ship to homeport in Antigua next year

Port Manager Darwin Telemaque says P&O’S Arvia Cruise ship will homeport in Antigua next year.

 

Telemaque says Antigua stands ready for this opportunity.

 

Speaking on Antigua Barbuda Today, Telemaque declares the Port Redevelopment Project has seen the completion of the 5th Cruise berth and this is testament to the country’s readiness to accommodate more and larger vessels.

 

This he says also facilitates homeporting which will see visitors start and end their cruises in Antigua.

 

According to Telemaque, this country stands to benefit tremendously from the initiative.

To date, the Bahamas, Barbados, and St. Maarten have also been announced as homeports for other Cruise Lines.

  1. Now, that’s progress. Many will benefit. That’s diversifying the tourism industry. The economic trickle down effect will be felt by many. From the taxi driver to the meat, drinks and produce providers. WIOC too. So buying 1/10 of a percent just might be your ticket to the good life.🙈

  3. It’ll be interesting to see if the ARRIVA is running as a fully vaccinated ship for crew, passengers and ground partners as many Royal Caribbean cruises are this year.

    • Nigel we don’r Know, but Andrea’s murderer we all know who that is. The police just has been dragging their feet to bring the young man to answer for his crime in a court of law.

    • Telemaque is neither a police officer or the head of customs. How is he responsible for anyone’s murder??? and they definitely didn’t happen in the port
