The Antigua Public Utilities Authority has reported a drop in water production at three of its desalination facilities following separate technical setbacks.
The Crabbs plant is dealing with electrical faults, while equipment failures have disrupted operations at the Ivan Rodrigues facility. At Fort James, rough sea conditions have forced one of the plant’s units out of service.
Residents who rely on these systems could see alterations to their regular supply, including reduced flow times or extended intervals between deliveries.
APUA said repair crews are working to correct the problems and are monitoring output levels. In the meantime, customers are being encouraged to conserve water and keep emergency reserves where possible.
The authority said it appreciates the public’s cooperation as efforts continue to stabilise production.

All you could say what you all want in APUA, the dictator prime minister Gaston have an election to win in st Phillips north, so play man and don’t let water run 24/7 until the 17th of March, and you see what become of your position at APUA. Even if it’s salt water you going have to pump into the st Phillips north constituency,,
So be it.
As usual anything in Antigua run by Antiguans never works. For over 40 years and APUA still cannot get it right with regards to water. What is wrong with Antiguan is there nothing that people here can operate satisfactory. It seems we will always have to have foreigners run things as we cannot do it ourselves. And then there’s the melanated people’s who hate whites and foreigners. But with them in charge things work, people get paid on time, there’s less crime, or maybe Antiguans lime it so, when nothing works and corruption amd crime run rampant. Antigua is not a real place. It’s a joke
When is not one thing is another
we accustom to it we good no need for news paper, tomorrow will be three days in Skirritte Pasture, no one competent enough to fix it, when it operates properly they put water on in the night when we are sleeping can’t make this up.
