The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) is making substantial progress in restoring power to Barbuda following the impact of Tropical Storm Philippe.
APUA’s Electricity Business Unit Manager, Andre Matthias, has reported that power restoration efforts are almost complete on the island.
Additionally, plans are now underway to accelerate restoration efforts on mainland Antigua.
Both islands experienced widespread power outages during the storm’s peak, leaving residents in darkness.
APUA’s commitment to swift restoration is expected to bring relief to affected communities in the region.
