10% DISCOUNT EXTENDED
We wish to inform you about an extended billing reading cycle for electricity consumption covering July and August 2024, which resulted from operational challenges. We recognize that this longer reading period, and in some cases, bill estimation, may have led to higher charges on your recent bills.
To address this, we are offering a 10% discount on all August electricity bills that are typically due in September, up to one month after the due date. For example, if your August electricity bill is due on September 20th, then you will be eligible to receive your 10% discount if paid in full by October 20th.
Additionally, if you need assistance with managing your current billing cycle, our Credit Control Team is available to discuss payment plan options. Please contact them at 480-7002.

While the communication even after the fact is appreciated, they had over a month to notify customers about the charges and not just double up on usage/monthly charges mysteriously with no explanation. Also we are in 2024, it is full time that APUA uses meters that provide information back to headquarters so that customers can receive their billing at the end of the month and not random periods, as well as giving the ability to actually track usage to ensure there are no unexpected charges. Keep in mind that the national cost of living is rising while salaries remain the same and utilities are essential. The wage/cost disparity makes it increasingly difficult for the average and if you can’t pay you get cut off. More needs to be done to alleviate some of the frustration customers are facing including making sure meters are accurate t ensure there is no over-billing and ceasing of guestimating charges especially when there is no issue getting to the meter.

APUA, do we look like fools…10%? 10% is the usual, come better 5han that, this is not an additional 10%, it’s the same 10% usually given.
Please give the normal 10% plus this additional 10%. That would be helpful to us.
What nonsense Apua is telling people, when you pay your bills on time they give you a 10% so now they acknowledge that they make a mistake with the billing and still want to give you that same 10% Apua please tell me how does that work
So instead of correcting this APUA giving persons that pay their bill within a specific time frame a 10% discount and if you don’t pay within that time frame you are stuck with high bill. Come on APUA do better than this. Apply a reasonable discount to all the customers because you know that this affect all your customers.

I had an experience where a landlord encouraged a random apua man to switch two meters while apua HQ didn’t had no write statement or form or issue claimed that there was a problem with high billing. If I didn’t talk for myself, I’d be paying bill of 300 ec in a studio apartment where as I work 6 days a week n barely home. I really think that everyone in this business is thieves. I don’t care what other people opinion is.
I dont know what there saying with 10% . I know when you pay your bill and you dont have any arrears you get the discount off. Always want to fool us. Chupz Can you imagine that i miss a month and because of their wickedness, they cut me off.
