NOTICE OF WORKS
Friday, 24 January, 2025

The APUA Water Business Unit wishes to notify the public of upcoming works along the Ffryes Beach main road as part of the final phase of expansion for the Ffryes Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) Plant. This project, which involves the installation of a one (1) million IG unit, is preparing for the plant’s upcoming commissioning.

The work will take place from Saturday, January 25, 2025, for approximately two days. During this period, road users should anticipate detours and delays in the area.

Communities served by the Ffryes R.O., from the Ffryes junction to Creekside and from the Ffryes junction to Old Road, will experience temporary disruptions to their water supply during the work.

We kindly ask all road users to exercise caution when travelling through the work zones to ensure their safety and minimize inconvenience.

  1. Isn’t FHR an acronym for Friars Hill Road, in the north? Why does the headline reference FHR but in the notice it says Ffryes Beach Main Road, which is in the south?
