Antiguan Vaden Ramsey Completes Global Tour Promoting STEM and Mental Health

2

Over a month of what can only be described as a whirlwind tour.

Senior Youth Director Mr. Vaden Ramsey first visited Australia, arriving amid the storm of their general election to advocate for youth transformation. He appealed to candidates from both major parties—especially the current government led by Hon. Anthony Albanese, MP—to institute measures aimed at advancing youth, particularly those aged 10 to 18, in the fields of advanced learning and STEM research. His goal: to help the continent remain independent and self-sustaining.

Mr. Ramsey stated,
“We cannot have another disarray like we did in 2020 during the pandemic.”

He continued his mission in Melbourne, carrying the same message.

Next, Mr. Ramsey travelled to Jakarta, Indonesia, where he spent his time counselling young people on the importance of learning through listening—not trauma—and on guarding their mental health. He also visited several monuments, museums, and other places of cultural interest. He thanked the government and people of Indonesia for their warm hospitality, great cuisine, and spectacular accommodations, calling Indonesia his favourite place to date.

Mr. Ramsey then moved on to Beijing, China. There, he spoke to youth about the importance of cultural exchange and diversity. He explored China’s many sites of interest and enjoyed its cuisine, remarking:
“This is a place that continues to amaze me every time I visit. The self-sufficiency, cleanliness, and the polite disposition of the people, who are always willing to help, is truly inspiring. China’s clean air and extensive electric transportation show that a zero-carbon footprint is definitely possible.”

He also visited Shanghai, describing it as the epicenter of Chinese trade.

Mr. Ramsey then travelled to Osaka, Japan, to attend Expo 2025—an event close to his heart. He has long promoted the importance of such global gatherings, especially since his last visit to Expo Dubai in 2020. He believes these events offer the world a valuable opportunity to showcase innovations in technology and ideas.

Mr. Ramsey will continue on to Tokyo before leaving Japan, where he will promote communication and exchange among young people.

Antigua, let us commend a son of our soil, Mr. Vaden Ramsey, for doing a great job on the world stage—and let us harness his talent for the benefit of our own shores.
