An Antiguan teenager has returned home cancer-free after nine months of intensive treatment in Colombia for Hodgkin’s lymphoma and a pre-existing heart condition.
Kishon received care at Clínica Imbanaco, where oncology, cardiology and holistic care specialists oversaw his recovery.
His family says the treatment was successful and that he is now free of illness.
Relatives, friends and well-wishers gathered to welcome him home, celebrating what they described as a moment of relief after months of prayers, fundraising and public support.
The family expressed gratitude to the community and to the medical team in Colombia, saying Kishon’s journey highlights the power of hope and collective compassion.

I am telling you this from experience within my family, my mother is with me, getting cancer treatment that I am paying for out of pocket in the US. She first went to Columbia for treatment (we weren’t speaking because she put politics before me), but they told her she is cancer free. As soon as I find out I sent for her immediately after her cancer treatment in Columbia, as soon as she got here, they did test and showed she still have cancer and it was growing. Columbia lied and thank God I sent for my mother and spending so far over $500,000.00usd for my mother to get cancer treatment and even test in the US where they test the cancer for its specific weakness to determine treatment.
Columbia is a good for nothing liar. It wasn’t even 3 weeks after she got from Columbia. That is why I told her stop thinking ABLP cares for her, they don’t. I am do, I am the one giving all of me to help her.
What could I do with $500,000.00usd and growing? I prefer any day spending that on my mother, just like I would for my father.
If Columbia says you are cancer free, you are not. Trust me on this. I actually wondered if they actually gave my mother any care and just pretended to give care. My mother has been getting care from about February 2025 and ongoing. She is with me getting the best treatment and I can afford to give a few more people this amazing financial help, for cancer at the top cancer hospitals and doctors.
