WISH – The Wadadli Initiative for Self-care and Healing is proud to announce that its founder, Chaneil Imhoff, has been nominated for the 2025 Caribbean POSH ICON Woman Award in the category of Health Advocate. This prestigious recognition honors Caribbean women who are blazing trails in their respective fields, making meaningful contributions to their communities, and inspiring the next generation of leaders across the region and diaspora.

Chaneil Imhoff, a communications specialist, mental health advocate, and youth leader, is being recognized for her work through WISH to break the silence and dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health in Antigua and Barbuda. Since its launch in 2024, WISH has led national conversations, school visits, and digital innovation in mental wellness, including the creation of the WISH Mood Tracker platform and multiple community-based mental health programs.

“This nomination is a testament to the power of purpose-driven work and the importance of community care,” said Imhoff. “I am truly honored to be recognized alongside so many phenomenal Caribbean women who are leading with courage, compassion, and vision.”

WISH also extends heartfelt congratulations to the other Antiguan nominees who are being celebrated for their outstanding leadership and achievements.

Their nominations reflect the remarkable talent, tenacity, and impact emerging from Antigua and Barbuda, and WISH encourages the public to support each of these women as they represent our nation on the regional stage.

The Caribbean POSH ICON Woman Awards are part of the annual Caribbean POSH Weekend, which will be held from June 27–29, 2025, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Winners will be announced at the official award ceremony.

  1. Hopefully she gets a better wig and get rid of the scary makeup. One next jump shipper get elevated because a de dawg

  2. @Voter give it a rest man! You come on every post about this girl with the same nonsense. “Wig and scary makeup” is such a juvenile dog but I understand why – you can’t attack her on anything else so you go for her appearance like the idiot you really are. You don’t see everything she’s done had nern OUTSIDE of politics??? HET A GRIP! JEEZ MAN.

  3. If all of you under here making hateful comments are mad that she’s being recognized for her work and actually doing something, just say so. Making a statement about how she looks isn’t going to stop her from making these achievements. Go find something safe to do and give the girl a break.

  4. This living dichotomy is proof that you can be a horrible human being and still get celebrated.

    1) This woman had no respect for her husband yet still walks around with his name posing here and there. I guess the Jacksons ain’t shit.

    2) Causes people mental anguish and shame through lies, deceit, and other actions just to get her way. Then poses as the biggest mental advocate of our time.

    3) Disrespectful, obnoxious, pretentious and the list can go on. If you watch the “The boys” she is the equivalent of Homelander mentally.

We all hope these awards fill that void in your soul.

  5. Booooo aryou sound so tink! Talk about how she looks but yall not doing anything for Antigua. She look lakka aryou mammy!!!

  8. @Ironic Dichotomy
    1. What have you done that fostered positivity in this country?

    2. What does her personal life have to do with you?

    3. If all you have to say is negative things about someone you probably don’t even know, find a seat, do something safe in that seat and shut up.

Nothing you said makes sense. I don’t see anyone else doing anything to make a difference around here. Until you can, be quiet.
