ABS- An Antiguan and Barbudan man who is accused of having a criminal offence in the United States, has been deported.

The man, who was charged for Criminal Assault in Pennsylvania, was flown to Antigua shortly after 2 Saturday morning.

It is the first time since President Trump assumed office for his second term that an Antiguan and Barbudan national has been deported, after having been accused of criminal conduct.

He was accompanied on the flight to Antigua by a U.S. security agent.

Security sources who spoke with ABS News are tight-lipped about details of the man’s identity, age and the time spent in the United States, but assure they are following all established protocols in these circumstances.

The Trump administration has been ratcheting up its immigration crackdown, one of the president’s signature policy positions.

  1. Ah good. Hopefully the deportations will also start in Antigua. All foreigners convicted of a crime should be deported automatically upon completion of their sentence.

Thank you so much, and I genuinely appreciate you. Thanks. It is highly beneficial for you and your love ones. Follow my whatsApp channel about US immigration and contact me for service.

  3. Here’s my two cents on this matter. You have someone living in the US, for God knows how long, who’s probably a high profile criminal, with accessibility to the such system. Key word ( probably). Coming back to Antigua, where the system is probably not equipped to handle his criminal capacity.. While the residents of Antigua, his neighbors, family members, friends, are oblivious as to who we now have amongst us. A thief, a killer, a child molester????? That should be of concern. Likewise if persons are deported from ANU their country of origin should be aware of who or what they’re dealing with. Not just let the person loose in society. What about jobs to sustain themselves? Are they to depend on family or eat by any means necessary?

  4. Oh please de man come home to where he was born.
So what is the big deal? You are talking about theif, killer and child molesters when all these kinds of horrible people are already living right here in you all homes and a lot of you know who they are but keep covering up for them. Hypocrites.

  5. Do you you’ll know you could be wrongfully charged with a crime and because of that ass that’s running the white people house you will be deported… do you ever think about some of or politicians and all the stuff they do and have done if they were in the U.S they too would be deported… you guys are so bias .. you have men here dealing with under age girls, is that a crime ? Who’s the biggest drug dealers? You’ll just stop judging all deportees .. do you know if you drive drunk and hit two person and kill one, in the U.S YOU WOULD GO TO PRISON AND after be DEPORTED? Do you know if you have your personal trucks working in the government that’s a crime and you can get charge and convicted … yes not here all we do is judge and we are so bias … allow the fcking people.

  6. Biase People !! You are so right. Seems if you are a certain class or people in certain positions you are looked at differently. How can anyone trust a Presidential felon. Antiguans need to look closer to home of what’s going on here. How a foreign student is killed another is maimed still nothing what is the outcome? Look at all the missing people on this island? Where are they? No news in the international press because we do not want to affect the tourism sector because Antigua is a safe place to travel to. No thought about the families who are missing their love ones. I’m 100% sure that if Ministers families were missing the police would be out searching for days/weeks/years until there’s an outcome, whether positive or not. There are murderers pedophiles in every country and communities comparing the US UK to Antigua.. no comparison. Black men have been stitched up in these countries for years. So please be cautious of what you think they are convicted of…
