    • I understand your point but it can be difficult sometimes even for the family ro put such information together. Our aunt recently celebrated her 100th birthday in the US and we are still working on some fine details to forward to community development. We were told she was born in Dominica to Antiguan parent then migrated to Antigua. All we have is the date
of birth and immediate family bio. Keep the faith, I belive they will have an updated version.

  2. Much blessings Miss Edna, yet another Antiguan centurion.

I have lost count of how many there are now.

Come on you so-called scientists; medical professionals; media; think-tanks and researchers; why not look into this amazing phenomenon thoroughly, and find out why this particular Caribbean Island has such a high rate of longevity – doesn’t it make sense to do so?

Stop taking Pfizer money for useless TRIAL vaccines that causes harm and look into this, for the betterment of humankind.

  3. ONE THOUGHT OR TWO
Congratulations on your 100 years of excellence!
Respect and honor Mrs. Edna Parker-Chiddick, SGOE (Senior Grandparent Order of Excellence)!

“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Lo children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalms 127: 1; 3.

Our venerable, noble, native Centenarians, descendants of our heroic, enslaved African ancestors had few and no choices within the economic and education systems of colonialism and slavery to earn a living: “Washing, cleaning, working in the canefield and picking cotton.”
Their labor produced the economic wealth and cultural benefits of our colonizers that were used for power and control of us deliberately propagating their social ‘superiority’ behavior.
Our Centenarians survived by practicing the fundamental economic principle: “Eat a little, save a little, spend a little.”
And spiritually, they internalized hope of a better life, faith, through religion.

Today the Centenarians ask our students/youths: ” What’s in your hand?” And they answer, cell phone, smartphone, iPhone, tablet – a computer! That’s a ‘Walking University’!
There’s no admission of guns, items used to harm, terrorize others and in the process carry out the proven, irrefutable, certain, ‘bad-man mindset’ model of self–destruction! It’s a losing path!

WHY are our youths leaving the Public Schools after eleven (11) years of instructional education without knowledge and skills to earn a living and start businesses?
Our education system isn’t working! It’s time for the educators, parents, students, communities to force radical changes!
The education system MUST PRIORITIZE STEM – the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics + creative Arts, (Vocational and communication skills) Pre-K to Tertiary, in the curriculum of EVERY PUBLIC SCHOOL and INSTITUTION, year-round, in-school, extra-curricular programs, after school activities and during summer!
With this education, our youths will be equipped to unlock their genius to create, innovate, produce and distribute the goods and services we need for ourselves and the World.
THAT MUST HAPPEN to achieve our economic and social development. If not, we face the horrible, terrifying economic and social consequences from the known risk of creating a permanent underclass of youths, a ‘low class’ without knowledge and skills for college, career and life.
They will be financially broke and broken as humans, physically and verbally beaten down until a shell of themselves.

Let us interact with humility, grace, good intentions! Be nice to each other!

Save our Humanity, Save our Youths, Save our Environment, Save our Soil!!!!

    Respect
