Two young Antiguan cricketers have returned home after completing a seven-week scholarship at Harrow School in London.

Dante Odlum of Antigua Grammar School and Ondre Peters of Princess Margaret School were selected through an interview process to take part in the exchange programme, which ran from April to June.

The initiative, a collaboration between the UK High Commission and Antigua and Barbuda, offers young cricketers the chance to develop both academically and athletically.

High Commissioner Karen-Mae Hill and Sports Minister Daryll Matthew praised the students’ achievements and thanked Harrow School for hosting Antiguan students for a second year.

Foreign Affairs Minister E.P. Chet Greene said the government remains committed to creating more opportunities for youth development through similar programmes.
