Antigua and Barbuda’s budding cricket sensation, Kelvin Pitman, enjoyed a sensational debut for the Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

The fast bowler, hailing from Bethesda, made an impactful entry by snatching three crucial wickets for just 27 runs in his four overs, maintaining an impressive economy rate of 6.75.

Pitman’s stellar performance included dismissing Mark Deyal, caught by Hales for 30, claiming Nicholas Pooran’s wicket with a caught-and-bowled for one, and finally, clean bowling Kieron Pollard for 33.

His outstanding contributions significantly aided in limiting the Trinbago Knight Riders to a total of 142 for eight in their allotted 20 overs in Barbados.

  1. Well done Kelvin Pitman, what a debut! I love my cricket and enjoying the CPL.

What a pity that the Antiguan Hawksbills no longer represents us. I recall travelling to Barbados with my Antiguan flag 🇦🇬 at the Kensington Oval, and the Hawksbills narrowly losing.

I think I would have needed a police escort out of the ground, because my support was so vociferous lt upset plenty plenty Bajans 🇧🇧 … happy days!

  2. This young man Kelvin Pitman’s mother was deported 2010 from Antigua because of upp’s wicked immigration policies, while her husband and children were Antiguan Citizens…. Thank God Labour won 2014 so his mother could have returned to Antigua
