Antiguan artiste ‘Shatta Kid’ debuts single with music video ‘Sun Shine’ Stephen, better known as Shatta Kid, is a young and upcoming entertainer from Antigua.
‘My biggest dream is to make it within the music industry using my God-given talent’, the artiste exclaims.
Shatta Kid is 28 years old and resides in the village of All Saints. He has had a love for music since the age of 15 years and recalls enjoying watching performers and hoping to emulate them.
‘While in high school I wrote my first song entitled Never Make It and this made me quite popular among my schoolmates. This made me realize that I truly have the potential to reign in on the music industry and to this day I still put in the work and hope for the best’, Shatta Kid states.
‘A lot of negative comments came about but I never let that stop me’, he asserts.
‘So far I have done countless tracks.’ the artiste explains. ‘I did one recently called ‘Go Hard or Go Home’ and it’s available on YouTube for streaming’.
The artiste is urging the general public to support local acts such as himself. A simple stream, share, like or listen could go quite a long way.
