Antigua State College hosts Major Health Fair

The Headquarters of the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment was buzzing with activities November 9, 2018 as the Antigua State College Teachers Training Department Under the theme ” Stay Bright, Eat Right! Want Wealth? Chase Health”, the Teachers along with their other partners held a major health fair on lower high street on Friday.

Dozens of individuals were seen having their cholesterol tests, Blood Pressure Checks, Body Mass Indexes and many participants were lectured on how to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The exercise was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment and in partnership with the Medical Benefits Scheme, the Emergency Medical Services, Sagicor, Mount St John Medical Center and the Family Planning Unit.
