The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) has revealed six new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Friday 16th October 2020 at 6pm.
Of the sixteen samples processed by CARPHA, nine were negative and seven positive; of the seven positive samples one was a repeat.
Meanwhile, one new recovered case has been recorded bringing that total to one hundred and one (101).
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and nineteen (119) with fifteen (15) active cases.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

Ok! It will happen. The sky isn’t falling. Whenever the numbers go up the government sit down and think of some new rule or fine to put in place… it’s like if they think no one should get covid.. it’s a pandemic … it’s going around … people will get it.. more still to come to get it.

Most people around the world stay at home in isolation and recover from covid-19.
They aren’t rushed to a hospital and there is little they give them… most doctors recommend and right prescriptions for stronger dosages or regular cold meds. There is no. Magic drug or people are automatically admitted to the hospital.
Unless you have underlying conditions and difficulties breathing.
But I feel like Antigua wants their citizens to be scared into submission and control. A lot of people are saying others should be jailed or fined because who won’t hear will feel. Well for one we are not children.

A Curfew makes no sense because Antigua has no night clubs.. and if safety protocols are being observed at 10PM, they can be observed at 1PM…
The borders have already been opened.
So why close the beach and bars. Also people are allowed to have gatherings was safety protocols are out in place.
I see no one checking temperatures upon entry to establishments etc in Antigua. That’s how we prevent, not by locking up everyone and living in a bubble.

Having a negative test 7 days before means almost nothing for an easily transmissible respiratory virus.
Not to mention a certain percentage of those letters/certificates showing negative results are forged.
And thirdly, COVID is not endemic to Antigua. It can only come from abroad. From that point, it will spread amongst and between locals and tourists.

The REASON for that is because of LEFT WING biases. The LEFT rarely reports ANYTHING that goes against their narrative. This is why IMO the main stream media is dying due to lack of viewership. COVID-19 while it can be very annoying, from reports, that I’ve had from two(2) individuals who’ve had it, and I am close to have recovered.

I have no information on the ‘cluster’ question.
Regarding masks – they protect neither the wearer or others from VIRUSES. They work only against BACTERIAL infections. Viruses are too small to be stopped by a cloth mask, either going in or going out through the fabric.
