Real News Antigua: A building owned by the Antigua Port Authority reportedly caught fire on Tuesday, February 13, and the cause is now under investigation by the Fire Department and the Police.
Reports say the St. John’s Station received a call about a building fire at Dredge Bay and a tender was immediately dispatched to the
scene.
While there was not much damage to the exterior of the building, which measures 72 x 18 feet, the interior was completely destroyed in the fire.
Dunhui Sun, the business manager of the Port compound, reportedly told investigators that the building was unoccupied at the time of the blaze and that there was electricity attached to the structure.
There were no personal injuries, according to fire officials.
