Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister Gaston Browne is in Dominica this weekend for the World Creole Music Festival, a highlight of the island’s Independence celebrations.
The annual three-day event, now in its 24th year, opened Friday night with thousands of locals and visitors celebrating the region’s Creole heritage through music, dance, and cuisine.
Browne was seen mingling with festivalgoers and regional leaders, including Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and Tourism Minister Denise Charles. Known for his approachable style, he interacted freely with fans, taking photos and joining in the festivities.
This year’s lineup includes several international and regional acts, with dancehall star Vybz Kartel among the most anticipated performers. Browne’s presence underscored the spirit of regional unity and cultural diplomacy that the festival embodies.

Under cover Cop. while you are in Dominica please continue your work as lead investigator and see if you can find the four Vechicles you said the policeman sent there .
At least my Prime Minister has a life. He enjoys himself with his beautiful wife in his free time and still doing the people’s business. Representing the country on Dominica’s independence celebration. And guess what our very own Burning Flames will be opening the night.
This wanton travel and lack of oversight is how we ended up with the scandal! Supposedly got a country to run but always all over the world, making Ai songs and other idle work while stuff hits the fan under your watch! And THEN you’ll just find a scapegoat SMH!
