
An Antigua Grammar School alumnus has earned a place on Antigua and Barbuda’s national sailing team, qualifying to compete at the Under-21 ILCA 7 World Sailing Championship.
The school announced that former student Shanoy Malone secured selection to represent Antigua and Barbuda at the international event, describing the achievement as a reflection of dedication and perseverance.
In a congratulatory statement, Antigua Grammar School said Malone’s accomplishment continues a tradition of sporting excellence among its alumni and serves as inspiration for current students and young athletes nationwide.
The ILCA 7 World Championship is regarded as one of the highest levels of global competition for youth sailors and is considered a key pathway toward elite and Olympic-level sailing.
