The Antigua Elite Gymnastics Academy has delivered an impressive performance at its first competition, securing 16 medals and finishing second overall against strong regional opposition.
Competing against approximately 300 athletes from Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica, the team also captured first, second and third place all-around trophies, marking a standout debut on the regional stage.
In a statement, the academy praised the athletes for their confidence and composure throughout the event, describing the outing as “a wonderful experience and a strong start” to their gymnastics journey.
The results signal a promising future for the young gymnasts, as Antigua and Barbuda continues to build its presence in the sport at the regional level.
