Antigua Cruise Port (ACP) has welcomed over 80,000 cruise passengers in February, marking a milestone for the port with a total of 83,389 passengers from 48 calls by mid-month. The ACP team expects to end the month with 78 calls and 141,000 passengers, highlighting the destination’s popularity for cruise vacations.

The ACP recently hosted the inaugural visit of Carnival Venezia, introducing “Fun Italian Style” cruising to St. John’s for the first time. The ship brought over 4,000 passengers and 1,401 crew members on a 12-day roundtrip Southern Caribbean itinerary, with St. John’s as its first port of call. The Vista-class cruise liner is set to return in November.

Other notable visits include Virgin Valiant Lady, Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas, and Celebrity Beyond, bringing the total passenger count to 13,350 for the day. Cynthia Jacobs Browne, Officer In Charge at Antigua Cruise Port, expressed delight at having Carnival Venezia and anticipated more visits from Carnival Cruise Line, reflecting the growing demand for the destination and cruise vacations.
