Antigua Cruise Port has issued a call for local entrepreneurs to help shape the next phase of its Upland Development Project, inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for new retail and visitor experience spaces.
The initiative aims to showcase the culture, heritage and creativity of Antigua and Barbuda, with a focus on locally made products, artisan brands and experiences rooted in national identity. Selected businesses will operate within a curated mix of bazaar-style kiosks and purpose-built retail areas designed to enhance the cruise passenger experience.
According to Antigua Cruise Port, the development will prioritise enterprises that celebrate local craftsmanship, fashion and creativity, as well as businesses that promote sustainability, wellness and community engagement.
The project is expected to offer entrepreneurs access to high passenger traffic within the cruise terminal area, a professionally managed retail environment and direct engagement with international visitors arriving by sea.

In a statement, the port operator said the call for EOIs reflects a broader vision of inclusive growth and partnership, encouraging local businesses to “write the next chapter together” as Antigua and Barbuda’s cruise tourism product continues to evolve.
Interested entrepreneurs can request an Expression of Interest form or additional information by emailing [email protected].
The deadline for submissions is 31 January 2026.
