Antigua Cruise Port Breaks Records with Busiest Month Ever

Antigua Cruise Port is currently in the midst of its most bustling month on record and anticipates hosting 76 visits, with an estimated 160,000 passengers arriving by the conclusion of January 2024.

The inaugural turnaround call of the year took place on January 13th, as P&O Cruises’ Arvia graced the port with its presence. Following suit, SeaDream Yacht Club’s SeaDream II successfully completed its first homeporting operation at the Nevis Street Pier on January 14th.

A noteworthy event occurred on January 18th, marked by the inaugural visit of Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady to the port.

A traditional plaque exchange ceremony transpired onboard the ship at Heritage Quay, with the presence of esteemed individuals such as Captain Justin Lawes, Cynthia Jacobs-Browne (Antigua Cruise Port officer-in-charge), Charles Fernandez (Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and Investment), and Colin James (CEO of Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority).

The biggest news of the day, is our own musical genius Khan Cardice about to pull off a double in the medium band category as arranger and total control of the Arima Angel Harps, then on the large band front he is back with his last year second place band Exodus as Drill master once again, but up it up a bit since Exodus is on top going into the finals today.
