Antigua Carnival 2026 officially ended Tuesday after nearly two weeks of music, mas and cultural celebrations that drew thousands of residents and visitors to St. John’s.
Sechuns The Band emerged as one of the festival’s biggest winners, capturing the coveted Band of the Year title as well as the Carnival Tuesday Large Band category, ahead of Insane Carnival and Myst Carnival.
Myst Carnival won the Carnival Monday Wear Large Band competition, while RT Performers Cultural Entertainment took the Carnival Tuesday Small Band title.
Insane Carnival won T-Shirt Mas, ahead of Myst Carnival and Rebel Nation.
In the J’ouvert competitions, Liberta Black Thing was named First Band on the Road, while Caution was the Largest Band on the Road. High Voltage took First Jam Band on the Road and Revo Band was named Sweetest Jam Band.
ChattaBox Company Ltd. won Best J’ouvert Troupe, ahead of Flava FM One Caribbean and Brewmasters J’ouvert Troupe.

They were lots of people in the city just milling around nothing going on!
Something is not right here.
Was there a last lap cuz I did not see one. Saw just Signal Band jamming to their starting point n that was it. Can be corrected cuz I left he city minutes to 11 n did not see the bands doing their normal routes for the last lap session. Yes people was just around on the streets lyming!!!
