Antigua & Barbuda Launches Its First-Ever National Authors’ Week 2025

Antigua & Barbuda will make literary history this November with the launch of its inaugural National Authors’ Week, a week-long festival dedicated to celebrating writers, empowering new authors, and strengthening the nation’s culture of storytelling.

Set for November 23rd–29th, 2025, the event will be held under the theme “Building a Nation of Storytellers.”

This landmark initiative is the brainchild of Peetron Thomas, a passionate advocate for creative development and a long-standing promoter of youth empowerment and literary growth. Thomas has also just released his newest publication, Ah Head Mek Book: Your Step-by-Step Guide to Writing, Designing, and Publishing Your Own Book, now available on Amazon for $10 USD. The book aims to equip aspiring authors with the practical tools they need to bring their stories to life.
