The construction of community roads, curbs, and drains continued at pace, and we’ve made new investments to accelerate delivery.

A new crusher for the Public Works Quarry is being manufactured and will ship soon. In addition, three new silos for our Concrete Plant are currently being installed. These will boost our storage capacity, efficiency, and consistency in delivering infrastructural upgrades, housing, and community development projects across the nation.

We are also immensely excited that the All Saints Road project is on the move. The project is being executed by Amdexβ€”a collaboration between the Canadian-based Dexter Company and local expertise, bringing extensive capacity to this transformative venture.

Survey teams and testing crews are now on-site, wrapping up the planning phase, which will ensure the more than 10 miles of reconstructed road, from the V.C. Bird Bust to English Harbour, are built to last. Old water pipes will be replaced alongside road reconstruction, in partnership with APUA, ensuring the road won’t need to be dug up again anytime soon.

Sincere thanks to Hon. Maria Browne, the Ministry of Works leadership, the Project Implementation Management Unit (PIMU), all our dedicated team members, C.O. Williams and all our contractor partners, APUA, ABTB, and the public for your continued support.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to play our part in delivering a national infrastructure transformation.

The best is yet to come!
