Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism industry is experiencing robust growth, with arrivals as of October reaching over 848,000—a notable increase from 774,000 in October 2019.
Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez attributed this success to collaborative efforts from the Ministry of Tourism, local businesses, and industry stakeholders, highlighting the importance of tourism to the nation’s economy.
The growth reflects renewed traveler confidence, boosted by government health and safety measures, enhanced marketing, and infrastructure improvements.
Fernandez expressed optimism about sustaining this momentum, with the government focused on building a sustainable, resilient tourism sector for the future.
