Antigua and Barbuda’s table tennis sensation, Stuti Kashyap, delivered impressive performances at the WTT Youth Contender Tournaments in Tunisia, facing top-ranked players from countries like Germany, Taipei, and Malaysia.

In the U17 Girls category, Stuti reached the quarterfinals, defeating Malaysia’s Ai Lis Gan (World No. 61) before a close loss to Taipei’s Peng Yu-Han (World No. 26). In the U19 Girls category, she reached the Round of 16 in both tournaments, including an upset over Germany’s Koharu Itagaki (World No. 19).

Ranking Surge:

  • U17 Girls: From World No. 92 to No. 53
  • U19 Girls: From World No. 159 to No. 100
  • ITTF Americas U17: Climbed to No. 2, up from No. 25 last year.

Stuti’s achievements highlight her potential to shine on the global stage and strengthen Antigua and Barbuda’s presence in international table tennis.
