Antigua and Barbuda is set to shine on the regional stage as Queen Kia (Ms Kia Kirwan) prepares to compete in the much-anticipated Miss OECS Pageant. The esteemed event is scheduled to take place on Friday, 30 January 2026, in the Commonwealth of Dominica.
The Miss OECS Pageant is a prestigious regional showcase that brings together contestants from across the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
The pageant celebrates beauty, intelligence, cultural pride, and regional unity, while providing a platform for young women to serve as ambassadors for their respective countries.
Queen Kia’s participation underscores Antigua and Barbuda’s continued commitment to empowering young women and promoting cultural excellence throughout the OECS.
Ambassador Elizabeth Makhoul, Chairperson of the Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission (ABFC), expressed the Commission’s full support for Queen Kia, stating:
“The Commission commends Queen Kia for her dedication, poise, and passion. She truly embodies the vibrant spirit and cultural richness of Antigua and Barbuda.
