Antigua and Barbuda’s National Culinary Team arrived in Barbados ahead of the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association’s Taste of the Caribbean competition, which runs from Nov. 16–18.
The chefs and bartender landed Friday and were greeted with a Barbados Transport Board bus wrapped in Antigua and Barbuda branding. The arrangement was facilitated by the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority to support the team’s participation and promote the country during the regional event.
Officials said the branded transport provided the team with a visible show of national pride as they began their schedule in Barbados.
The delegation will compete against culinary teams from across the region during the three-day event.
