Antigua and Barbuda’s Latest Homicide Victim, Lloyd Lewis, Found Dead with Chop and Gunshot Wounds

Antigua and Barbuda authorities are investigating the country’s eighth murder this year.

The victim, identified as 39-year-old Lloyd Lewis, was discovered face-down in his home in Bottom Village, All Saints, on a Saturday morning.

Initial reports indicate that he sustained multiple chop wounds to the head and a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Local police responded to a call around 7:45 a.m. reporting an unresponsive man, but Lewis was later pronounced dead.

Law enforcement is urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the All Saints Police Station, the Criminal Investigations Department, or Crimestoppers.

  2. This wasn’t a robbery, this was an assignment given and carried out with the gun man finalizing the order. Large things are taking place in Wadadli and we lack the proper investigators and investigating equipments to get these crime solve quickly especially if it’s a local.
    We have many heartless criminals walking around and even socializing amongst us right in the open public, but this is the streets and once the streets continue to raise our kids instead of parents this will get worse.
    Gun shot fired so unless this is a house sitting all by itself, someone heard and saw something.

  5. I agree Carvaa. People in Antigua will have all the scoop on people’s lives, a frequent commenter on this forum seems to have the 411 on Shugy, but people in this country never seem to have information to assist police in solving crime.

  6. Somebody needs to be thrown overboard so we can have peace in this once fair land of Antigua and Barbuda. We need to get back to our first love which is Jesus Christ. Lord, please step in and expose who need to be exposed and bless those who need to be blessed. Evil has been planted in this land but Lord, please take Your rightful place and hear the cry of the righteous who are interceding for the good of this land. We pray for Your tender mercies Lord. Let the doors of evil be closed. Let the love of money which has caused such evil be put to flight in Jesus name. Antigua and Barbuda belongs to You Lord and change must take place because the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much. Amen Lord, Amen.

  8. So nobody in Bottom Village heard the gun shot? 😳 The deceased had to be “found” with a gun shot wound in a community where ur neighbors can stay from within their houses and hear what u whisper to ur wife? Something doesn’t sound right
