Antigua and Barbuda has become the first Caribbean country to offer full Google Street View coverage, with images on Google Maps already viewed 2.43 million times.
This milestone comes from a collaborative effort between World Travel In 360 and the Ministry of Tourism, aimed at increasing the island’s visibility to a global audience.
Led by World Travel In 360’s CEO Federico Debetto and COO Dimitar Kunev, the team faced the challenge of mapping 1,300 km of streets. Advanced technology, including custom-modified Insta 360 Titan cameras, helped capture detailed panoramic views.
Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez lauded the project for giving prospective visitors an immersive way to explore the island, helping them navigate and discover its offerings with ease.
Prime Minister Gaston Browne emphasized that the initiative boosts Antigua and Barbuda’s appeal by showcasing its natural beauty and cultural landmarks, aiding tourism and economic growth.
Ambassador Dr. Dario Item played a key role in bringing the project to Antigua and Barbuda, with World Travel In 360 providing their services free of charge. More mapping efforts are expected, with plans to extend the project to other Caribbean nations.

Great, congratulations
For safety, security and efficiency all streets and buildings should named and numbered as soon as possible.
Noteworthy achievement Antigua and Barbuda.🇦🇬 An achievement that comes with the price of raising our standard of keeping our island looking attractive. Each have a responsibility to render the save not only safe but sterile. ‘Each endeavoring all Achieving.’
So you want a round of applause for this achievement while the same streets are hot now? Everyday you see a post of someone’s vehicle being stolen, but let us forget about that and place our focus else where .
Great job. Now these are the kinds of stories we want to hear. How the next generation can benefit. We care less about 4 drilly and 3 drill and 2 drillyyyy. Commendations to the ambassador and the other dude who did the project.
I’m.here just for the comments. I love it here.
Because we love to sit on our talents and our monies and just talk talk talk.
Interesting. ANR needs to state sources for all news articles that they don’t write themselves though.
Great, now everybody can see how narsy town look and how deplorable the roads are.
