Antigua and Barbuda Wins Regional Firefighters Drill Competition
Antigua and Barbuda emerged victorious in the Caribbean Association of Firefighters international drills competition, held as part of International Firefighters Day celebrations in St. Kitts and Nevis.
The event, which also marked the 25th anniversary of the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Services and the regional firefighting association, brought together teams from across the Caribbean, including the British Virgin Islands and Guyana.
Chief Fire Officer Rommel Williams praised the heroism of firefighters past and present and urged continued public prayers for the safety of officers who face danger daily in service to their communities.
